The Convener of BAT Vanguard, Hon. Sola Olofin has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the Tax Reform Bills currently before the National Assembly. Hon Sola Olofin commended Mr. President for his foresight and commitment to reset the Nation economy. Nigerians should know that at the time President Bola Ahmed Tinubu took over, we did not have economy as we were already spending 97% of our income as a nation on servicing debt. So what will anyone do with the remaining 3% ? That was the sorry case we were as a nation when President Bola Ahmed Tinubu took over. As a result of Mr. President political and economic sagacity, he embarked on reforms in order to reset our economy. So far so good, we are beginning to see the positive results of those reforms. I am using this opportunity to appeal to Nigerians to support Mr. President. Mr. President has been a progressive for years. And he has not changed. He means well for our nation. The Tax bills that are currently before the National Assembly are another magic Mr. President is introducing to increase productivity and the wealth of our nation. Everybody, every State will surely, certainly and definitely benefit from the Tax Reform Bills.Let us stand with and support Mr. President to push the bills through at National Assembly. Nigeria needs the bills to move to the next level economically.
